Adeline Rockett
Rockett has been involved with both the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour and the Alberta Society of Artists, and in 2000, she won the Millennium Art Competition that was run through the Conservation Council of Canada, and the Canada Millennium Partnership Program. Her winning piece hangs in Ottawa at the Conservation Hall of Fame.
Rockett received her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education degrees at the University of Saskatchewan in the 1960’s, and her Master in Art Education from the University of Alberta in 1974. She has had numerous solo shows and group exhibitions, and her work is in over seventy corporate and public collections throughout Canada, the United States, and Europe, including the Royal Collection of Drawings and Watercolours in Windsor Castle, England.
