Lindsay McIntyre

Lindsay McIntyre is a film artist and creator from Edmonton, AB who specializes in analogue film work that emphasizes documentary, experimental and handmade techniques. She employs handmade emulsion, manufacturing film stock, and various kinds of celluloid manipulation in her work. She also does film projection performance. Her short films explore the themes of portraiture, place, form, and personal histories, and she generally prefers to do everything “the hard way.” Her current filmic obsessions involve handmade emulsions and the chemical manipulation of celluloid.
